JJG 315-1983 DC Digital Voltmeter
JJG 315-1983 DC Digital Voltmeter
Basic Information
Scope
This procedure applies to the verification of newly produced, in-service, and repaired DC digital voltmeters (DC-DVMs), as well as the DC voltage measurement sections of digital multimeters and digital panel meters. This procedure also applies to the verification of certain measuring instruments that convert some physical quantities into DC voltages for digital measurement, as well as certain relevant parts of analog-to-digital converters (A/D converters).
With the rapid development and widespread use of digital technology, high-performance digital voltmeters (DVMs) are becoming increasingly popular. DC-DVMs are the main and fundamental components of DVMs and digital instruments. Given this situation, the first step in formulating this procedure is to unify the verification methods for DC-DVMs and gradually ensure the rationality of their manufacturing and use.
