Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, inspection methods, reference samples, inspection equipment and its debugging, evaluation and grading of unbonded parts for ultrasonic testing of composite steel plates. This standard is applicable to the detection of the bonding quality of the composite surfaces of rolled composite steel plates and explosive welded composite steel plates with a base plate thickness of more than 4 mm. The ultrasonic testing of composite steel plates of other specifications can also refer to this standard.
