Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper, and titanium using handheld energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This standard is applicable to the semi-quantitative analysis of the content of manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper, and titanium in bulk stainless steel samples. The measurement ranges for each element are shown in Table 1.
