Scope

This standard applies to geotechnical engineering surveys for urban roads, bridges and culverts, tunnels, outdoor pipelines, water supply and drainage plants and stations, embankments, and other construction projects. The main technical content of this standard includes: 1. General Provisions; 2. Terminology; 3. Basic Requirements; 4. Division of Survey Phases and Basic Work Contents; 5. Urban Road Engineering; 6. Urban Bridge and Culvert Engineering; 7. Urban Tunnel Engineering; 8. Urban Outdoor Pipeline Engineering; 9. Urban Water Supply and Drainage Plants and Stations; 10. Urban Embankment Engineering; 11. Basic Requirements for Report Preparation. The main amendments include: 1. Determining the division of survey phases and depth requirements for municipal engineering; 2. Establishing standards for the classification of municipal engineering survey levels; 3. Specifying the content, workload, and accuracy requirements of municipal engineering surveys; 4. Defining the requirements for survey results; 5. Supplementing the survey content for urban tunnels and water supply and drainage plants and stations. The provisions marked in bold in this standard are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
