YY/T 0480-2021 Diagnostic X-ray imaging equipment—Characteristics of general purpose and mammographic anti-scatter grids

Scope

This standard specifies the definition, measurement methods, and representation methods of the characteristics of anti-scatter grid filters.
This standard applies to anti-scatter grid filters used in medical diagnostic X-ray imaging equipment. The use of anti-scatter grid filters reduces the impact of scattered radiation primarily generated from within the patient's body on the image receiving area, thereby improving the contrast of X-ray images.
This standard only addresses linear grid filters.
Currently, only convergent grid filters are used in breast imaging technology, so this standard is limited to convergent grid filters for breast photography anti-scatter grid filters.
This standard does not apply to acceptance tests.
This standard does not address the uniformity of the entire area of the grid filter.
This standard applies to the measurement of the characteristics of anti-scatter grid filters under test conditions. Generally, these test conditions cannot be obtained on-site by the responsible party.
