Scope

This part of YY 0055 specifies the requirements and test methods for LED curing machines (hereinafter referred to as LED curing machines) used in dental clinics to irradiate and cure polymer-based restorative materials with light-emitting diodes emitting in the blue wavelength. This part does not apply to LED curing machines used in dental laboratories for indirect restorations, dental films, dentures, and other dental applications. When this part has provisions, it takes precedence over GB 9706.1—2007.
