Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging marks, packaging, transportation, and storage of self-adhesive food-grade plastic wrap. This document is applicable to self-adhesive food-grade plastic wrap (hereinafter referred to as "plastic wrap") produced mainly from resins such as polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), and polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT) through single-layer extrusion or multi-layer co-extrusion processes.
