Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types, models, and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of volumetric refrigeration compressor-condenser units (hereinafter referred to as "units"). This standard applies to volumetric refrigeration compressor-condenser units using refrigerants such as R717, R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R407E, and R410A. Volumetric refrigeration compressor-condenser units using other refrigerants may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
