本文件就媒体库的下列对象建立了用于监控的各种详细模型：

一般情况下，CIM客户端可以监控上述对象的正常表现和状态并且给出告警、状态变化和生命周期CIM指示。此外，客户端能控制符合本文件的库里媒体的运转。
本文件适用于分布式存储设备中媒体库管理架构的设计、开发、维护。
分区的磁带库和虚拟磁带库会在后续版本的文件中给出。注意，本文件先前版本中用于建模分区磁带库和虚拟磁带库的实验性子配置文件已经被撤销，因此当前文件略去了它们。
