Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for tea bags. This standard applies to tea bags made from tea leaves (including flower tea made by the scented flower processing method) and packaged in filter materials. It does not apply to tea bags that contain other plant raw materials and food flavorings.
