Scope
This standard specifies the setting and organization of color codes for soil maps of China at scales of 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:100,000, the use of color codes, soil classification levels and legends, and the requirements for annotations. This standard is applicable to the compilation and publication of soil maps at national basic scale of 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:100,000, or other scaled maps.
