Scope

This standard specifies three methods for testing the anti-rat performance, including the test samples, devices, procedures, presentation of results, and test reports, etc.
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the anti-rat performance of optical cables, sheathing materials, and metal armoring materials that have a single or multi-layer metal armor and do not contain any chemical agents such as repellents. The metal armor layer can be a metal tube, longitudinally wrapped (or wound) metal strips, or twisted (or braided) metal wires. The anti-rat performance tests of other cables with similar structures can also be used as a reference.
