Scope

This part of GB/T 21487 provides detailed instructions on how to obtain reproducible measurement results, so as to monitor and evaluate the vibration of rotating shafts in accordance with the GB/T 11348 series of standards. Therefore, it is mainly related to the vibration measurement of rotating shafts in large machines (such as steam turbine generator sets, gas turbine generator sets, industrial turbine generator sets, and hydraulic turbine generator sets). This part of GB/T 21487 is applicable to absolute and relative detection systems for the radial vibration of rotating shafts. It includes detection devices (i.e., sensors), signal conditioners, connection methods, and calibration procedures.
