Scope

This standard specifies the product structure, classification and models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of foot-operated valves (hereinafter referred to as "foot-operated valves").
This standard applies to all types of foot-operated valves with a nominal size not exceeding 25 mm, a nominal pressure not exceeding 0.6 MPa, a medium temperature of 0 °C to 75 °C, and installed at the terminals of water supply pipelines.
