Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in industrial circulating cooling water. This standard is applicable to the determination of COD in industrial circulating cooling water with a concentration of 2 mg/L to 80 mg/L (calculated as O2). This standard is also applicable to the determination of COD in industrial wastewater, raw water, and boiler water.
