Scope

This document specifies the usage conditions, rated values, design and structure, type testing, factory testing, and on-site testing of the switchgear compartment in prefabricated modular equipment for substations, as well as design and selection guidelines. This document applies to the design, production, and testing of prefabricated modular equipment with a rated voltage of 3.6 kV to 252 kV and a rated frequency of 50 Hz, which is installed outdoors and primarily composed of switchgear. Equipment with other voltage ratings may be referenced for implementation. The switchgear compartment defined in this document is designed and type-tested as an independent product, with a separate serial number and related supporting documents.
