Scope
This standard specifies the definition and designation of graphite blocks for blast furnaces, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates. This standard applies to graphite materials made from low-ash coke (petroleum coke, needle coke, and asphalt coke) and coal tar as the main raw materials, which are used for the construction of the inner lining of ironmaking blast furnaces.
