GB/T 32788.5-2016 Test method for properties of prepreg—Part 5:Determination of resin content

Scope

This part of GB/T 32788 specifies the principles of extraction, dissolution, and combustion methods for determining the content of impregnating resin, as well as the test conditions, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, test results, and test reports. This part is applicable to the determination of the content of impregnating resin in prepregs with carbon fiber, glass fiber, aramid fiber, and other reinforcement materials, and a thermosetting resin as the matrix. The combustion method is only applicable to prepregs with glass fiber as the reinforcement material. The extraction and dissolution methods are not applicable to prepregs in which the reinforcement materials can dissolve in solvents, or prepregs in which the resin matrix cannot completely dissolve in solvents after curing.
