GB/T 6683.2-2025 Pertroleum and related products—Precision of measurement methods and results—Part 2:Interpretation and application of precision data in relation to methods of test

Scope

This document describes the application of the precision of test methods in accordance with GB/T 6683.1. It specifically defines the procedure for setting property specification limits based on the precision of test methods when the properties are determined by specific test methods, and the procedure for determining the conformity of specifications when the results from the supplier and the recipient are inconsistent. It briefly introduces the principles of other applications of the precision of test methods, but does not provide the relevant procedures.
This document is applicable to petroleum and related products that are usually homogeneous. The procedures described in this document are also used for other homogeneous products. However, caution is required when applying this document to products whose uniformity has not been determined.
