Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the transportation of live sea crabs, as well as the technical requirements for transportation tools, pre-transportation processing, and transportation. This standard applies to the transportation of commercial fresh and live three-spined swimming crabs (Portunus trituberculatus Miers), saw-edged blue crabs (Scylla serrata Forskal), and other wild-caught or farmed sea crabs.
