Scope
This procedure is applicable to gas piston pressure gauges (hereinafter referred to as pressure gauges) with a measurement range up to 10 MPa, where both the working medium and the lubricating medium of the piston system are gases, and which can measure gauge pressure and/or absolute pressure. It covers the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspections of such pressure gauges.
This procedure is not applicable to pressure gauges that do not load weights or where the piston system does not rotate.
