Scope
This standard specifies the classification and rated values, operating conditions, technical requirements, test items, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of frequency-controlled speed-regulating equipment used in metallurgy. This standard applies to high-performance, heavy-duty frequency-controlled speed-regulating equipment with a rated input voltage of 1 kV AC or lower, a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, an output voltage of 1 kV or lower, and an output frequency of less than 300 Hz.
