Scope
This standard specifies the method overview, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting for the 14-day prolonged toxicity test of chemicals on fish.
This standard is only applicable to the 14-day prolonged toxicity test of chemicals on freshwater fish.
For chemicals with limited solubility under experimental conditions, it may not be possible to determine the values that this standard aims to measure.
If a longer observation period is useful and appropriate, and it is necessary to provide a test report containing more information, this standard may be used as an alternative to the acute toxicity test on fish.
