Scope
Scope: This document specifies the product and physical standard samples, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of Weng'an Laobaocha tea. This document is applicable to Weng'an Laobaocha tea products produced under the supervision of the Weng'an OEM Tea Association; Main technical content: Water content/(%) ≤8.08.5 Total ash content/(%) ≤6.56.5 Tea stems (%) ≤Not detected (Premium, Extra Grade) 2.0 (First, Second Grade) Water extract (≥3236% for Premium Grade) 34 (Extra, First, Second Grade) Powder/(%) ≤1.0 Raw tea Premium grade: buds are robust, with white hairs and a pure, fresh, light apricot-yellow color. Extra grade: the hairs are clearly visible, with a gray-green luster and a relatively even texture. First grade: the buds are connected to the branches, with the hairs more prominent and a gray-green luster. Second grade: the branches and leaves are connected, with a gray-green color and a pure, light apricot-yellow luster. Compacted tea Premium grade: the compactness is moderate, with a smooth surface and a silvery-white luster. The hairs are clearly visible with a pure, sweet aroma and a fresh, light apricot-yellow color. First grade: the compactness is moderate, with a smooth surface and a brown-yellow luster. The hairs are relatively pure with a sweet aroma and a light orange-yellow luster. Second grade: the compactness is moderate, with a smooth surface and a brown-yellow luster.
