Scope
This document specifies the classification and model designation, requirements, inspection rules, marking, and packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial fuel and gas burners, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of fuel and gas burners with an output power of not less than 60 kW for mechanical ventilation (hereinafter referred to as "burners"). The design, manufacture, and acceptance of alcohol-based fuel and biomass oil and gas burners for industrial furnaces shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
This document does not apply to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of burners for natural ventilation.
