GB/T 1312-2022 Lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps and starterholders

Scope

This document specifies the technical and dimensional requirements for lampholders and starter sockets used in tubular fluorescent lamps, as well as the test methods for determining the safety and compatibility of lamps in lampholders and starters in starter sockets. This document applies to independent lampholders and built-in lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps equipped with the lamps shown in Appendix A, as well as independent starter sockets and built-in starter sockets for starters that operate in AC circuits with an effective operating voltage not exceeding 1,000 V and comply with IEC 60155. This document also applies to single-ended tubular fluorescent lampholders with integrated housings and domed covers, similar to Edison screw lampholders (e.g., G23 and G24 lampholders), which are subject to further testing in accordance with the following provisions of IEC 60238: 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, 10.3, 11.7, 12, 13.2, 13.5, 13.6, 13.7, 14, 16.3, 16.4, 16.5, 16.9. This document also applies to lampholders integrated with luminaires or intended for installation inside luminaires, including only the requirements for the lampholders. For all other requirements, such as electrical protection against contact in the wiring terminal area, compliance with the relevant standards for the luminaires is required, and the testing should be conducted first on suitable devices in accordance with their own standards. Lampholders intended for use by luminaire manufacturers are not intended for retail sale. Under reasonable circumstances, this document also applies to lampholders and starter sockets other than those explicitly mentioned above, as well as light source connectors. This document uses the term "socket" to refer to lampholders and starter sockets. When using the term "two-pin lampholder", it also applies to wedge-shaped lamps.
