Scope

This document specifies the requirements for three types of fabric-reinforced thermoplastic hoses and hose assemblies for hydraulic applications with a nominal inner diameter ranging from 3.2 to 25 mm. According to the conductivity requirements, each type is divided into two grades. They are suitable for the following applications: - Oil-based hydraulic fluids HH, HL, HM, HR, and HV (as defined in ISO 6743-4), with a temperature range of -40°C to +93°C; - Water-based hydraulic fluids HFC, HFAE, HFAS, and HFB (as defined in ISO 6743-4), with a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C; - Water, with a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C. This document does not include requirements for pipe fittings, but only focuses on the performance requirements of hoses and hose assemblies. Note: It is the user's responsibility to consult the hose manufacturer to confirm the compatibility of the hose with the liquid being used.
