Scope

This standard specifies the measurement principles, sample requirements, measurement equipment and instruments, measurement steps, data processing and measurement results, measurement records and reports for measuring the thermal conductivity of metals at high temperatures using the direct electrical power vertical heat flow method. This standard is applicable to measuring the thermal conductivity of metals or alloys at temperatures between 80°C and 900°C without phase transition.
