Scope

This standard specifies the water usage quotas for agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries, industry, and the tertiary industry in Fujian Province. This standard applies to the management of water extraction and usage in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries, and within the administrative boundaries of Fujian Province. This standard can be used as the basic reference for water resource extraction permit management, water resource assessment of construction projects, water extraction (usage) plans, water usage evaluations, discharge outlet setting assessments and approvals, and surcharge water resource fees and water charges for exceeding quotas (plans) in the province. Note: For industries, categories, or products not listed, refer to the water usage quotas of related or similar industries, categories, or products. All water usage quotas specified in this standard are net quotas, which do not take into account water transmission losses from water sources to water users.
