Scope
This part of GB/T 21645 specifies the general automatic discovery function, framework, process, and discovery messages of the automatic switching optical network (ASON), as well as the automatic discovery mechanism in synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) and optical transport network (OTN) networks, and the link management protocol (LMP) based on the communication multiprotocol label switching (GMPLS).
This part is applicable to the synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) transmission network defined by ITU-T G.803 and the optical transport network (OTN) defined by ITU-T G.872.
