Scope
This part of GB/T 21645 specifies the signaling technology requirements for Automatic Switched Optical Networks (ASONs), including the signaling function requirements of ASONs, the operation process of Distributed Call and Connection Management (DCM), the reliability of signaling controllers, the DCM attribute list, the DCM message set and state diagram, and the signaling process of the Traffic Engineering Resource Reservation Protocol based on Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching (GMPLS RSVP-TE), etc.
This part is applicable to the Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) transmission network defined by ITU-T G.803 and the Optical Transport Network (OTN) defined by ITU-T G.872.
