Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the method of determining the percentage of polypropylene mass that is insoluble in boiling n-heptane under standard test conditions. 1.2 This standard is applicable to propylene homopolymers (PP-H), propylene impact-resistant copolymers (PP-B), and propylene random copolymers (PP-R) described in GB/T 2546.1—2006. 1.3 This standard is applicable to polypropylene materials that are typically in the form of powder, granules, or crushed particles. 1.4 This standard is not applicable to polypropylene materials that have been modified with colorants, fillers, or other additives.
