HB 8423.7-2023 Metal material identification method - Part 7: Identification of nickel-based high-temperature alloy grades using a spectrum analysis

Scope

This document specifies the methodological principles, instruments, working conditions, and identification steps for identifying high-temperature alloys (hereinafter referred to as nickel-based high-temperature alloys) with nickel as the main alloying element using spectral analysis methods. This document is applicable to the identification of all types of nickel-based high-temperature alloys listed in Table A.1. For types of nickel-based high-temperature alloys not listed in Table A.1, as long as the types of alloying elements fall within the range of elements listed in Table A.1, and the content of the alloying elements (i.e., mass fraction) is within the range defined by the determination intensity of each corresponding element in this document, they can be used for reference.
