GB/T 8175-2008 Guide for design of thermal insulation of equipments and pipes

Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles of insulation design, the performance requirements and selection principles of insulation layer materials and main auxiliary materials, thermal insulation calculation, cold insulation calculation, and the main construction technical requirements of insulation structures and insulation projects. This standard applies to general equipment and pipelines. It does not apply to devices and facilities with special requirements, such as ships, nuclear energy, and the linings of industrial furnaces and boilers. Temporary facilities in construction, pipelines of various thermal instrumentation systems, and heating pipes are not subject to the constraints of this standard.
