Scope

This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, and dimensions of three-phase plugs and sockets for household and similar applications. This standard applies to three-phase plugs and three-phase fixed or mobile sockets for household and similar applications, with an AC frequency of 50 Hz, a rated voltage of 440 V, and a rated current of no more than 32 A. This standard does not exclude the use of three-phase plugs and sockets on construction sites or for agricultural and commercial purposes.
