This standard applies to mornel fatty acid salts food additives used as emulsifiers, and natural animal and plant waxes (such as palm wax) or natural animal and plant gums (such as shellac) used as film-forming agents, which are reacted at a certain temperature to produce mornel fatty acid salts fruit waxes (referred to as CFW fruit waxes) as food additives.
