Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 37751 is applicable to RCDs with threaded terminals for connecting untreated aluminum wires or aluminum threaded terminals for connecting copper or aluminum wires. The threaded terminals for connecting untreated aluminum wires are made of copper, or of copper alloys containing at least 58% copper (cold-worked) or at least 50% copper (processed in other ways), or of other metals with corrosion resistance not lower than that of copper and with suitable mechanical properties, or of coated metals.
This part cannot be used alone. It needs to be used in conjunction with RCD product standards (IEC 61008-1 or IEC 61009-1) for threaded terminals for connecting external untreated aluminum wires and aluminum threaded terminals for connecting copper or aluminum wires.
In this part, copper-plated and nickel-plated aluminum wires are all considered as aluminum wires.
