Scope
This standard specifies the certification requirements for the energy management system of transportation enterprises, sets forth the basic requirements for the systematic management of energy use and consumption in transportation enterprises, takes into account the factors affecting the energy performance of transportation enterprises, and clarifies the core elements of the energy management system of transportation enterprises.
This standard is applicable to the certification of the energy management system of transportation enterprises. It can be used by transportation enterprises to establish, implement, maintain, and improve their energy management systems, and can also serve as a basis for various related parties to evaluate the energy management systems of enterprises.
This standard is primarily applicable to enterprises engaged in waterway transportation, highway transportation, urban passenger transportation, and air transportation. Other types of transportation enterprises, such as railway transportation and urban rail transit, may refer to this standard for implementation.
