Scope

This standard specifies the cross-sectional shape, cross-sectional dimensions, weight, and allowable deviations, length and allowable deviations, and external shape of forged steel bars (round steel, square steel, and flat steel).
This standard applies to forged round steel with a diameter of 40 mm to 1,000 mm, forged square steel with an edge length of 40 mm to 1,000 mm, and flat steel with a thickness of 20 mm to 800 mm and a width of 40 mm to 1,500 mm.
