Scope

This standard specifies the method of measuring transparency using the diffuse reflection method.
This standard is applicable to semi-transparent paper that is white or close to white. When measuring paper containing fluorescent whitening agents, an ultraviolet cut-off filter is used to eliminate the excitation of fluorescence.
