Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for rare earth nitride red phosphors used in LEDs. This standard applies to Eu2+-activated nitride red phosphors produced by high-temperature reactions, which emit red light when excited by wavelengths of 300 nm to 550 nm. These phosphors are primarily used in LED lighting devices excited by UV or blue LED chips.
