Scope
This document specifies the classification and specifications, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and accompanying documents for rare earth nitride red phosphors used in LEDs, and describes the test methods.
This document is applicable to rare earth nitride red phosphors activated by divalent europium (Eu2+) obtained through high-temperature solid-phase reactions, which are mainly used in light-emitting devices excited by ultraviolet or blue LED chips.
