GB/T 25945-2010 Aluminium ores—Sampling procedures
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the necessary conditions for sampling bauxite. Samples are prepared from the total samples obtained from flowing ore streams and in a stationary state, including on a constrained conveyor belt. Compared with other sampling procedures, sampling on a constrained conveyor belt is the reference method for sample collection. Sampling from flowing ore streams is the preferred method. Only when it is impossible to sample from flowing ore streams can static sampling be considered. The static sampling procedures specified in this standard are only intended to reduce certain sampling errors.
This standard applies to all sampling of flowing bauxite ore streams. The recommended procedures may not be suitable for certain extreme segregation situations, such as very wet viscous materials or very dry materials prone to dust generation. In such cases, it may be necessary to switch to sampling on a constrained conveyor belt.
