Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation indicators, test methods, and requirements for the exergy efficiency of air-cooled heat exchangers (hereinafter referred to as heat exchangers), as well as their marking and other aspects.
This standard applies to air-cooled heat exchangers with forced air convection on one side.
This standard does not apply to heat exchangers where both sides are gases, and one side is in a wet operating condition.
