GB/T 31517.1-2022 Fixed offshore wind turbines—Design requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies additional requirements for the evaluation of external conditions at the site of offshore wind turbines, as well as basic design requirements to ensure the integrity of fixed offshore wind turbine projects. The aim is to provide an appropriate level of protection against various hazards that may damage offshore wind turbines during their expected lifespan. This document focuses on the engineering integrity of all structural components of offshore wind turbines, as well as subsystems such as control and protection mechanisms, internal electrical systems, and mechanical systems. If the support structure of an offshore wind turbine withstands hydrodynamic loads and is fixed to the seabed, then the turbine is classified as a fixed offshore wind turbine. The design requirements in this document cannot ensure the engineering integrity of floating offshore wind turbines. The design requirements for floating offshore wind turbines are specified in IEC 6140032. The offshore wind turbines described in this document refer to fixed offshore wind turbines. This document should be used in conjunction with the applicable IEC and ISO standards mentioned in Chapter 2. It should be noted that this document fully complies with the requirements of IEC 614001. The safety level of offshore wind turbines designed according to this document should not be lower than that specified in IEC 614001. In some sections, the content of IEC 614001 is reproduced to clearly describe the specified requirements.
