Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the classification and structure of rubber hoses for offshore mooring and oil extraction, general requirements, special requirements, hoses for appraisal samples, inspection rules, marking and packaging, storage and transportation.
This standard applies to rubber hoses that operate under environmental temperatures ranging from -29 ℃ to 52 ℃, transport crude oil or liquid petroleum products with an aromatic hydrocarbon content of no more than 50% at -20 ℃ to 82 ℃ on the seabed or water surface, and operate under pressures ranging from -0.085 MPa to 1.5 MPa.
This standard applies to rubber hoses with an inner diameter of 400 mm or less, capable of continuous oil transportation at flow rates of no more than 21 m/s, and rubber hoses with an inner diameter of more than 400 mm, capable of continuous oil transportation at flow rates of no more than 15 m/s.
This standard does not apply to rubber hoses used for transporting liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas.
