Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for fire protection design in nuclear power plants. This standard applies to onshore fixed thermal neutron reactors (such as light water, heavy water reactors, and gas-cooled reactors) nuclear power plants. This standard mainly focuses on the fire protection design of nuclear island buildings.
