Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the general rules for halal food certification, general principles, qualification requirements for halal food production and operation enterprises, requirements for raw materials of halal food, processing specifications for halal food, and the marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of halal food. This standard applies to halal food production and operation enterprises. It is a set of general rules for regulating the qualifications, production preparation, operation, packaging, transportation, storage, and sales of halal food. It is also the basic principle that halal food production and operation enterprises should follow when using the "HALAL" food logo. It also applies to the supervision and management of halal food safety.
