GB/T 25980-2010 Road vehicles—Coupling balls for caravans and light trailers—Dimensions

Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions of mechanical connection devices for connecting ball hitches between motorhomes and light trailers and their towing vehicles. The net space around the ball hitch should be sufficient to ensure safe connection and disconnection with the towing vehicle, as well as safe operation during the connection and disconnection of mechanical devices.
This standard applies to ball hitches used for connecting Class M and Class N vehicles with motorhomes and light trailers (Class O1 and Class O2), but it does not apply to the connection of special-purpose vehicles with special-purpose trailers.
