Scope
1.1 This part of GB/T 35850 applies to programmable electronic systems used to implement the electrical safety functions of escalators and automatic walkways, as well as the escalator and automatic walkway safety functions defined in the specifications and standards for escalators and automatic walkways when applying PESSRAE.
1.2 This part also applies to new PESSRAE or those that differ from those described in this part.
1.3 If the electrical safety devices meet all the requirements of this part and other relevant standards, there is no need to consider the possibility of their failure.
